About

Olatunde A. Oderinwale is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Animal Sciences at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T), Greensboro, USA. He is a Research Assistant at the Ruminant Nutrition Lab, where his research focuses on nutritional strategies for improved performance and nutrient digestibility; milk yield; greenhouse gas mitigations; batch culture; RUSITEC; and omics studies on beef and dairy cattle.


As a university scholar, he lectures in the Department of Animal Production and Health, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Nigeria, before his program at NC A&T. He had an Associate degree (Magna cum laude), Bachelor’s (Summa cum laude), and Master’s (Distinction) degrees in Animal Science. He also earned a World Bank-sponsored doctorate in Ruminant Production. In addition to this, he has managerial experience that spans over a decade in the livestock industry, having worked in private and government establishments.


With a profound commitment to advancing dairy science and ruminant nutrition, Olatunde aims to enhance food security, promote animal welfare, and foster environmental sustainability.  Olatunde is deeply interested in conducting disruptive research with innovative solutions and exploring the intersections of animal health, nutrition, and environmental impact. He advocates for integrating scientific research with practical applications to improve the efficiency and sustainability of ruminant animals and dairy production systems.
